Martial Arts activities offer a unique way to teach discipline and respect for others as well as self respect, confidence, and commitment. It enhances focus, concentration, ability to follow instruction, proper etiquette, and above all, the tools necessary to cope with an ever changing world. Martial arts have changed our lives for the better and we hope to influence the children we teach in the same way.
After School Pickup
Our Afterschool Program helps children in need of self discipline and guidance. Our program emphasizes the training regimen of martial arts in a fun and casual environment, while still providing needed discipline.

3:30 - 3:45 - 1-5th grade arrives at school
4:00 - 4:45 - Martial arts training
4:45 - 5:30 - Snack and outside playtime/homework

Summer Camp
GTSD Karate offers a summer Karate Program that is a great alternative to traditional daycare. We are a licensed daycare provider by the State of Texas & provide quality care for your child along with martial arts instruction at an affordable rate.
We are now registering for the 2009 Summer Karate Camp. Summer Camp is available for children 5 years and older and includes martial arts training and field trips (with the exception of a few optional field trips). The cost is $120 per student and discounts are given for additional family members. Field trips include swimming, skating, bowling, and the park. Optional field trips include Build-a-Bear and AMC Movies.
Registration is $60 for new students, but includes a karate uniform, t-shirt, and water bottle. If you are interested in our summer program please feel free to drop by our facility to meet our instructors and tour the building or you can reach us by phone at 281-446-4484.
