Kyo Sa Nim Mr. & Mrs. Gonzalez have been training in Tang Soo Do since 1997 and have been actively teaching since 1999. They have a great love of the martial arts & encourage their students to better themselves through their training. They are both 3rd Degree Black Belts in the American Tang Soo Do Association. GTSD Karate has been providing quality martial arts instruction since June 2000. Our 4000 square foot facility is conveniently located in the heart of Humble, Texas. We are a family owned & operated business that stresses integrity, honor, perseverance & compassion for all.

2010 ALL TANG SOO DO CHAMPIONSHIP

This year will be the 37th year for the ATA/UTC All Tang Soo Do Championship!
Our Tang Soo Do brothers and sister from across the US and around the world will
be joining us for another exciting two days of competition and camaraderie. It is
always the goal that our event be safe, fair and enjoyable for all. Whether you are
a long time friend or member of the ATA/UTC or this will be the first time you’ll be
attending this event, it is Kwan Jang Nim Byrne’s objective, as well as mine, to
make sure you feel welcomed and that your support is very much appreciated!

Spring Break Schedule
Spring Break for Humble ISD is March 15-19th. GTSD Karate will be open for daycamp from 7am to 6pm Monday through Friday. Each after school student will receive 3 days of day camp for their normal after school tuition. Additional days will be $25 each. This is a mandatory week and each after school student will be responsible for paying their normal after school tuition even if they do not attend camp.
Spring Break Activities
Monday - Xbox tournament on the big screen
Tuesday - Pajama Day (popcorn, movies)
Wednesday - Indoor volleyball tournament
Thursday - Practice tournament for Boston
Friday - Pizza party
March 22-26th
GTSD Karate will be open this week Monday-Wedneday for after school pick-up. We will be closed Thursday, March 25th and Friday, March 26th due to the World Tournament in Boston. All of our staff will be traveling to the tournament. This week will be discounted to $45/per student. Please make other arrangements for your children to be picked up from school on Thursday, at 11:30am (elementary has early release) and on Friday, at their normal dismissal times. We apologize for any inconvenience. Please see Mr. or Mrs. G. if you have any question.

Annual Easter Egg Hunt
Saturday, March 13th 12-3pm
Please join us for our annual Easter egg hunt on Saturday March 13th. Each student or sibling wanting to participate in the egg hunt needs to bring 12 plastic eggs filled with wrapped candies to the school by Friday, March 12th. (Please no chocolate it melts!!!) The sign up sheet for food is at the front counter. Come and enjoy food, the egg hunt, moonwalk and volleyball. Hope to see everyone there!!!
